The Catholic Foundation recently announced that they would be awarding nearly $600,000 in competitive grants for the 2024 year. This is the largest amount to be awarded in the history of the Foundation. Grants will be awarded to parishes, Catholic schools and non-profit organizations in the areas of faith formation, capital improvements, historic preservation, human services and Catholic education. The grant application process opened at the end of January and closed in mid-April. A Grant Committee, made up of Trustees of the Foundation, will decide who and how much each applicant will receive, if any. This year, over 100 applications were received by the Foundation. Grant recipients will be notified at the end of July and honored at the Foundation’s annual Grant Awards Luncheon on Friday, September 20, at Sandia Resort in Albuquerque. Tickets are currently on sale for $100 each.
