Nomination Information
The 2025 Catholic Award for Teachers (CAT).
These awards recognize the positive impact educators have made in teaching within the Archdiocese of Santa Fe Catholic School System. For 2025, the award will be $1,000, plus $100 will be placed in a designated endowment fund for each winner’s school. The number of awards given each year depends on the total funds available and the number of nominations per category. The awards will be given at the grade school, middle school and high school levels.
Careful consideration will be given to the nominee’s demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire intellectual and spiritual development, leadership, responsibility, enthusiasm, curiosity, and creativity. The nominee should be a role model in his/her professional, civic, parish and personal life.

Who is Eligible?
To be eligible for a CAT Award, a nominee must be a full-time, licensed teacher or specialist (coach, librarian, counselor, etc.), in the Archdiocese of Santa Fe Catholic Schools system for a minimum of three years.
Who can Nominate?
Any parent, student, faculty or staff member of a school is welcome to nominate someone for this award. To nominate someone for this award, the official CAT Nomination Form form must be used.
The deadline for nominations is Monday, April 21, 2025. Late nominations will not be considered.
