Our Deepest Gratitude to Our Grantees

A big THANK YOU to our Grantees and all you do, making it possible to follow our mission of promoting the work of the gospel within the Archdiocese. The Grant Awards Luncheon was created to honor you and your work that supports the communities you live in. Without you, many of these programs and organizations would not exist. And, many thanks to our gracious benefactors, whose continued support make these grants possible. This year’s Grant Awards Luncheon marked a record breaking $417, 250 in grant awards and the Foundation was able to award 2 large grants, totaling $14,000 each, thanks to a partnership with Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD). Making the celebration of our grant award recipients even more rewarding. Catholic school education and the impact it has made on a generation of students was the theme of this year’s event. We announced two new scholarship endowments: The Archbishop Michael J. Sheehan Scholarship Fund and The Gene and Kathie Leyendecker Scholarship Fund. We now have four general scholarship funds to help with tuition assistance, and are on our way towards our goal of giving all Catholic school students the opportunity to attend Catholic school, regardless of their financial situation. All in all, this year’s luncheon was a huge success and we are so grateful that we get to share this annual celebration with you, our champions and allies. Your dedication to the Catholic community is outstanding and we are humbled by your daily perseverance, hard work, and assistance in serving those who need a helping hand and a caring heart.
